В новой книги Джонатан Фокс ссылается на очень прикольное понятие: DAY TALK & NIGHT TALK (дневной разговор & ночной)

Я покопала про это и очень порадовалась насколько же…

…Плейбэк возвращается нас к древней идее держать племя сплоченным через истории.

Антрополог Полли Визнер, изучая народ ю/хоанси в Южной Африке, обнаружила интересную фишку.

Day Talk — дневные разговоры.
Обсуждение повседневных дел, решение проблем, конфликты, жалобы и прочие хрени жизни.

Night Talk — ночные разговоры у костра.
Истории, воспоминания, юмор, приключения и переживания. Люди делятся опытом, узнают друг друга и вместе осмысляют жизнь. Но для этого важна атмосфера!

☀️Днём мы обсуждаем, что происходит.
🔥Ночью рассказываем истории о том, что с нами происходит.

Днём мы организуем жизнь. Ночью — создаём общий мир смыслов.

Главная функция Night Talk (ночной разговор) — передача культурных знаний, развитие воображения и укрепление связей между людьми.

Как и у нас в Плейбэк театре, но важно то, какую атмосферу мы создадим и куда откроем дверь историй.

А знаете что еще я думаю:

То, какие истории мы услышим/расскажем ночью будет влиять на наши решения днём.

Day Talk & Night Talk 🔥

In his new book, Jonathan Fox refers to a really cool concept: DAY TALK & NIGHT TALK.
I dug a little deeper into it, and I was so excited to discover how Playback Theatre brings us back to an ancient idea: keeping the tribe connected through stories.
Anthropologist Polly Wiessner, while studying the Ju/’hoansi people of Southern Africa, discovered something fascinating.

☀️Day Talk — daytime conversations. Talking about everyday matters, solving problems, conflicts, complaints, and all the other shit life throws at us.

🔥Night Talk — nighttime conversations around the fire. Stories, memories, humour, adventures, and personal experiences. People share what they’ve been through, get to know one another, and make sense of life together. But the atmosphere matters!

☀️During the day, we talk about what’s happening. 🔥At night, we tell stories about what happens to us.

During the day, we organise life. At night, we create a shared world of meaning.

The main function of Night Talk is to pass on cultural knowledge, spark imagination, and strengthen the bonds between people.

And isn’t that what we do in Playback Theatre sometimes, too?
But what really matters is the atmosphere we create and which doors we open for the stories to emerge.

I think stories we tell and listen at “Night” will affect our decision during the “Day”

Ребята довезли последние экземпляры моей книги в Берлин. Поэтому моя книженция еще может попасть в теплые ручки плейбэк-жаждущих.

На русском ее нет. Я писала и издавала ее на инглише в 22-м. Да потому что про эти темы мне проще думать на английском — вся моя работа в странах заморских была на этом языке.

Зато есть на португальском. Ребята перевели и издали ее для своего сообщества в Бразилии.

А еще книжечка попала в списки рекомендованной литературы у Джо Салас и Джонатана Фокса для лидершипперов. За это отдельное мерси ребятам ❤️

Little book dumplings have arrived from Switzerland 🥟

The guys brought the last copies of my book to Berlin. So my little book can still find its way into the warm hands of some Playback-hungry folks.

But there is also Portuguese version. The guys translated and published it for their community in Brazil.

And the little book made it onto the recommended reading lists of Jo Salas and Jonathan Fox for leadership folks. So, a big merci to them for that. ❤️

Умнички невозможные!

В выходные мы были очень заняты выпускными перфами нашей годовой Берлинской плейбэк обучалки.

Ребята правда классные. И у нас есть надежда, что родится ещё один театр 🥹

Хотя многие гоняли к нам в течение года из Оксфорда, Нидерландов, всяких Гамбургов и других заморских мест. И мы держим за них кулачки!

Очень мы полюбили этих ребят.

И как же хорошо, что впереди у нас ещё будет двухдневочка и настоящий выпускной!
А самое прекрасное, что теперь мы коллеги!

This weekend, we were very busy with graduation performances of our year-long Berlin Playback Theatre training program.

The participants are truly cool, and we’re hopeful that another theatre company will be born from this experience 🥹

Many of them travelled to us throughout the year from Oxford, the Netherlands, Hamburg, and other faraway places. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for them!

And how wonderful that we still have another weekend and a proper graduation ahead of us!
The best part is that we’re colleagues now and hopefully we will see each other often.

Почти пять лет мы — скитальцы, пилигримы, странники.

Фейсбук напомнил — а мне и напомнилось.

У меня есть странный ритуал: уезжая из нового места, я целую подушку и говорю ей спасибо.

И вот этих подушек в первый год было больше сотни.

Теперь у нас есть домик, кошки и много подушек.

Но мы всё ещё странники.

For almost five years, we’ve been wanderers, pilgrims, drifters.

Facebook reminded me — and suddenly, I remembered too.

I have a strange little ritual: whenever we leave a new place, I kiss the pillow goodbye and say thank you.

There were more than a hundred of those pillows in our first year.

Now we have a little house, cats, and plenty of pillows.

And yet, we’re still wanderers.

Нежно. Ярко. Глубоко. Неистово сердечно. Стильно. Сумасшедше мультикультурно. Ново. Экспертно. Сексуально. На️распашку.

Кажется, именно такими словами я пытаюсь описать Международный Плейбэк Кэмп в Кыргызстане.

А до следующего Кэмпа — ещё долгих 10 месяцев.
И я уже очень ёрзаю на стуле.

Как будто я в долгом перелёте: заказываю томатный сок со специями, смотрю в иллюминатор и мечтаю о том, что будет, когда я снова приземлюсь в августе.

А пока — этот невероятный диафильм воспоминаний.

Tender. Bright. Deep. Fiercely heartfelt. Stylish. Wildly multicultural. Fresh. Expert. Sexy. Wide open.

These are some of the words I keep reaching for when I try to describe the International Playback Camp in Kyrgyzstan.

And there are still 10 long months until the next Camp — and I’m already missing it.

It feels like being on a long-haul flight: ordering tomato juice with spices, looking out the window, and dreaming about what it will feel like when I land again next August.

Until then, there’s this incredible slideshow of memories.

Хорошие девочки попадают в рай, а плохие Берлин

Вот такой плейбэк перф мы сыграли в чудном городе Берлинске.

Порыдали и пожурили. От наследия предков до иммиграции, от стоя на краю крыши до попыток снова взлететь.

Разводы, дети, сексуальность, табу, быть женщиной сейчас…

чорд возьми как же это свободно и тяжело, тритонно и легко.

Good girls go to heaven, bad girls go to Berlin.

That’s the kind of performance we played in the wonderful city of Berlin.

We cried and we scolded. From the legacy of our ancestors to immigration, from standing on the edge of a roof to trying to fly again.

Divorces, children, sexuality, taboos, what it means to be a woman today…

God, how free and how hard it is. So tritone, and so light.
