Klaus Mikaelson is the world's first Original Hybrid-half vampire a werewolf-introduced in The Vampire Diaries as a ruthless antagonist but later transformed into one of the most beloved and complex characters due to his deep-seated vulnerabilities. Having lived for thousand years, he is driven by extreme paranoia and an obsessive desire to create more hybrids, a trauma rooted in the abuse and rejection by his stepfather, Mikael.

Although he frequently terrorize siblings and sacrifices anyone in his way

to gain absolute power, Klaus remains deeply loyal to his family's vow of "always and forever" and reveals a softer, more protective and romantic side through his intense fascination with Caroline Forbes.
