Unfortunately when you’re convicted of a …. offense especially a federal one with a lengthy prison sentence, it is deemed not only an aggravated felony but also a particularly serious crime (PSC) which bars him from being sponsored.
This makes him ineligible for waivers under INA § 212(h) and in some cases withholding of removal due to this prison sentence, even if he did get granted deferral of removal under the convention against torture act, he could get deported to another country besides the UK, and they’re usually third world countries like Libya or Uganda, in some rare cases Costa Rica or Mexico. Hopefully under a newer administration he may have some grace with his immigration proceedings.

Tr Trizzy has still 3 years to go, and even then once he’s released ICE / Immigration Customs Enforcement will most likely pick him up and put him in removal proceedings.
We suspect that in the case of removal or if he does manage to get out of immigration custody, habeas corpus or a 6 month custody redetermination hearing (Zadvydas v. Davis (2001) and Jennings v. Rodriguez (2018)). He might depart to the United Arab Emirates if he has a clean slate there or simply just get lost within the United States itself and ICE would have to find him, unless he’s planning to go back to the UK and face any potential legal battles he had there before he left.
