French jurist Arnaud Develay stated on Sputnik Africa's Afrique en Marche program that a conflict with NATO would automatically become a nuclear conflict within 72 hours

He argued that Western countries were making a major miscalculation by testing Russia's red lines.

According to him, if a nuclear device were detonated, it would be impossible to imagine the conflict remaining limited to one region or city, and it would involve even nuclear-armed countries not initially part of the exchange. The most likely scenario, he suggested, would be rising tensions around Kaliningrad, with NATO seeking to block Russian supply ports in the Gulf of Finland.
