Avalanche is rolling out Helicon today. The upgrade cuts the minimum staking lock-up from 14 days to 48 hours, adds auto-renewing staking, and raises validator uptime requirements.
Better staking capital efficiency could support network activity longer-term, though AVAX's price likely already reflects much of that expectation.
