The gayest thing you will see all week.. possibly

" A group of Austin musicians and artists is using their music to raise money for immigrant families affected by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Austin Artists Against ICE is a new grassroots network of musicians and creators organizing fundraisers to provide financial assistance to families in need.

It comes as the Austin Police Department's Special Investigations Unit is continuing to conduct an investigation independent of federal officials, after an ICE agent shot 28-year-old Wilber Rafael Garcés Pérez in September.

Erin Walter, a singer and bassist for the rock band Parker Woodland, said the group’s mission aligns with her band’s existing advocacy.

“Parker Woodland has been involved in the anti-ICE movement for quite a while," Walter said. "We already really cared about this."
