Just discovered that WebGL option was not included for Mimic browser in version 1.4.7. We will apply this fix along with other minor fixes and release version 1.4.8 shortly.
We thank you all for being our users. If you have any feedback or notes, feel free to send them to our Telegram feedback account @ml_feedback (Russian/English language, not for tech. support)
Last news is for our enterprise/business level customers. You requested a feature to customize Multilogin welcome page and a feature to disable browser notifications. Both features had been implemented. They are not included in any of standard plans but you can always talk to customer support to discuss your needs.
Finally, we have good news for those utilizing proxy tunnels.
The first news is that you don't have to double-check Timezone value before every browser launch. Just enable a corresponding option. When you launch a browser profile next time, our servers will check your actual external IP address and adjust the Timezone value to match geo of the IP address.
The second news is when you work with proxy tunnels that might switch you from one exit node to another, a mismatch between your actual external IP and WebRTC reported Public IP may occur. But no more! Choose a corresponding option and our servers will continuously check your actual external IP. Whenever it changes, WebRTC reported Public IP will be adjusted automatically on-the-fly.
While adjusting geo-location coordinates is not as important compared to WebRTC Public IP, a similar mechanism is planned for geo-location value in the upcoming updates.
Many users were asking us to add an option for setting up custom DNS server on a browser profile level. We included this inquiry into our last sprint. You can now edit DNS settings under "Show additional options" menu right below the browser select field.
Custom DNS works for SOCKS4/5, VPN and direct connections. Unfortunately, it is not feasible at this point to make it work for http(s) proxies.
Please also be aware of a small bug we discovered a few minutes ago. Custom DNS option is incompatible with "Fill (WebRTC) Public IP on start based on the current external IP" option. This will be fixed in the next update.
Next feature we would like to showcase is a completely new font masking algorithm. Our new and improved algorithm does not rely on fonts installed on a user machine anymore. This enables 100% precise font fingerprint transfer from one computer to another.
When you work with your colleagues or assistants, you simply "share" a browser profile through Multilogin. Multilogin takes care of transferring an exact copy of the font fingerprint assigned to that profile between computers. Everything is done in seconds. True magic!
Compared to the early beta-version, Mimic browser has got a whole new set of features and improvements:
🔹MacOS is now supported 🔹Windows 2012 server is now supported 🔹All WebRTC plugin variables can now be controlled 🔹Geo-location can now be controlled 🔹The number of media devices can be adjusted
And these are just Mimic-specific improvements. Continue reading to learn what else has been added in this version.
We are happy to present you Multilogin 1.4.7, one of the biggest updates in the past 6 months. Let's explore its features in detail.
With all certainty, the main new feature presented in 1.4.7 is the production version of Mimic browser. Mimic browser has been available to testers for a couple months. Finally, it is available to all users of our new Premium subscription plans.
We get asked a lot whether Mimic is better than our other privacy browser Stealthfox. This is a tough question to answer. While we work hard to develop the same features in both browser simultaneously, there might be things outside of our control.
Firefox engine historically was used for creation of customized browsers and automated tools (bots). For this reason, many websites assign a lower trust score to connections made from browsers built on Firefox engine.
Chrome browser, however, is not designed for source-code level customization. It takes a lot of knowledge, research, and special hardware to create a customized browser based on Chromium engine. Which is why websites tend to trust connections coming from Chromium-based browsers more.
Will browser choice affect your work with a particular web platform? No one knows. Only you can figure out the answer through trial and error. That said, Mimic browser already received raving reviews from early beta-testers...
🔸Pro pricing plan becomes Start-up Regular 🔸Agency plan becomes Business Regular. 🔸We also added two additional plans called Start-up Premium and Business Premium which include Mimic browser as a Special Premium Bonus. 🔸Free plan is renamed to Privacy and its features stay the same 🔸We added a free full-featured plan for verified academic researchers 🔸Automation plans now available to users who only use Multilogin API without using the interface and data storage.
Multilogin is adjusting our pricing to more accurately reflect the value users get from the tool and make room for some great new features coming your way.
Want to lock in our old pricing before the change is made? You can upgrade your account to a paid plan before March 1st and we'll honor our previous pricing tiers.
However... with new subscription plans come new awesome features. Read further to learn more about the changes.
Mimic browser release, Multilogin 1.4.7 release, and a few important announcements, are scheduled for tomorrow February 22nd, 7:30 AM GMT (London time).
Our users ask why Multilogin 2.0 is named Deep Blue. It's named in honor of a famous chess computer.
Deep Blue was a chess-playing computer developed by IBM. It is known for being the first computer chess-playing system to win both a chess game and a chess match against a reigning world champion under regular time controls.
Deep Blue won its first game against a world champion on 10 February 1996, when it defeated Garry Kasparov in game one of a six-game match. However, Kasparov won three and drew two of the following five games, defeating Deep Blue by a score of 4–2. Deep Blue was then heavily upgraded, and played Kasparov again in May 1997. Deep Blue won game six, therefore winning the six-game rematch 3½–2½ and becoming the first computer system to defeat a reigning world champion in a match under standard chess tournament time controls.
We hope Multilogin 2.0 Deep Blue will help you to win your games against current world champions 😏
