We fixed both application login and Mimic launching bug that many of you have reported. However, there's one bug left that requires rebuilding Mimic browser which will take a while even on our fast workstations. Please expect a release with fixes tomorrow.

For now, we put back up 1.4.8 download links.

We temporarily took down 2.0 download links from the download page to make a build with quick fixes and publish it thereafter. Hold on :)

Local storage and extension storage options were mistakenly disabled on some subscriptions plan. If you see them as disabled, please restart the app. We have fixed it on our side.

Current situation: 2.0 is working correctly for the majority of users. However, some users experience problems with launching Mimic browser. Seemingly, Mimic browser component cache hasn't updated in some CDN locations. We are working to resolve it.

We know you want to be the first to upgrade. However, if you have valuable profiles in your account, it's a wise idea to wait for a few days until the dust settles.

Keep in mind, that our customer support will be overloaded with questions in the upcoming days. Right now it's 11pm in our timezone, soon going home to 💤

Following numerous requests of our users, we fixed a window size and position bug when launching Mimic browser. Besides, on the left from the address bar in Mimic you can now see browser profile's name. The same profile name output will be soon added to Stealthfox.

We continue our course towards abandonment of Chromium and Firefox browsers since those turned to be a dead-end in the privacy browsers evolution. Following chosen direction, we added a browser profile converter from Chromium into Mimic, from Firefox into Stealthfox. Since the mechanics of fingerprint injection differs in these browsers, we recommend converting your browser profiles in stages. Test how converted profiles work with web platforms by first converting a small amount.

Big changes were introduced in proxification technologies. A while back Proxy over SSH plugin was only available privately through a special configuration. Now it's public. It will be available to all paid users. This plugin allows making proxy-connections through remote servers that support SSH protocol. We tested this solution to simultaneously work with 10 tunnels for several hours. No problems arose during the testing.

However, we know that in actual work SSH tunnels with bad connection quality are often used. For this reason, we added a function to automatically restore a fallen connection.

All previously existed problems of Proxy over SSH plugin have been fixed in the 1.4.9 / 2.0 update.

The main change of 1.4.9 / 2.0 is a new data storage architecture.

ATTENTION! If you upgrade from 1.4.8 or lower, the first launch of any existing browser profile will lead to its conversion to a new format. This means you won't be able to downgrade and launch the same profile on Multilogin 1.4.8 or lower.

New data architecture enabled us to distribute data onto several data centers located on different continents. This will increase working speeds for users from Asia, Australia, Eastern part of Russia, likewise North and South America.

Besides, it paved the way to implementation of Local Storage and Extension storage. This means that now browser cache including browser extensions is fully saved. It can also be transferred between computers if you log into your account from several devices. Likewise, data transfer is performed when sharing or transferring browser profiles between multiple Multilogin users.
