In Asia, they are made to order. Humanoids collect data for months and build a personality tailored to the client. In 2025, about 13,000 humanoid robots were sold worldwide, with more than 80% of them in China.

Manufacturers do not hide it: men without a wife or girlfriend are becoming the main admirers. Many are building relationships with humanoids. To see how far this can go, watch the new RT.Doc film 'I'm Your Robot'.
