💚 A brave cat protected an apartment from burglars. In Turkey, a cat named Muchize single-handedly fought off four women who were trying to rob an apartment. The women broke the apartment locks, but the cat stood in their way. He fought the intruders off with his paw right in the doorway. As a result, the would-be burglars gave up and were forced to leave empty-handed.

While some cats are fighting off thieves, others are protecting world art. About fifty cats live in the Hermitage, each with its own passport, schedule, and salary. They patrol the basements and prevent rodents from damaging the collections. You can learn how this unusual service is organized from the film 'Secret Hermitage helpers' (2013).
