Russian instructors are preparing Mali’s army for operations against terrorists.

This is one of the missions of the Russian Defence Ministry’s Africa Corps. At training grounds, Malian troops practise weapons handling, movement and teamwork. They already use these skills on joint missions.

Watch how this training works in the video and in the film 'Frontline Mali' by Alexander Kharchenko and Mikhail Burov.

Submissions are now open for the 5th RT.Doc International Documentary Film Festival 'Time of Our Heroes'. Apply by December 1.
