An Emirati father gifted his daughter a rare bird for $4️⃣0️⃣8️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣.

In the Gulf countries, falcons are a status symbol. These birds cost as much as luxury apartments or high-end cars, and they are actively purchased.

Additionally, falcons are exceptional hunters. They can spot their prey from heights of up to 2 kilometers and dive at speeds of 390 km/h. Falconry is officially recognized as a national heritage of the UAE, and it is prominently featured in the World Nomad Games—one of the most spectacular events on the planet.

Our author, Natalia Karachkova, created a film about this titled "Wild Ride: World Nomad Games". Watch it on September 11 on RT.Doc.
