THE STORY OF BUDDY

Before $BUDDY was a token, Buddy was a real dog with a real connection to Bitcoin.

In 2013, Alexandra rescued Buddy, a dog with a serious heart condition. She planned to use her Bitcoin to help pay for his surgery — but then lost access to her coins.

She turned to the early Bitcoin community for help, posting:

“Buddy wants his Bitcoins.”

Then, on May 9, 2014, Buddy became permanently part of Bitcoin history.

“Buddy is the best dog in the world.”

Eight words, permanently recorded on the Bitcoin blockchain.

Years later, we’re bringing that story back to life.

A real dog.
A real Bitcoin story.
A permanent piece of blockchain history.
