Ripple is bringing XRP payments to the AI payment standard developed by Stripe and Tempo. 🚀

RippleX has released version 1.1 of the XRP Ledger AI Starter Kit, adding support for the Machine Payments Protocol (MPP) and the Open Wallet Standard.

This allows AI agents to make payments for data, computing and online services using XRP and RLUSD. Agents can also manage wallets across multiple blockchains through a common interface.

The beta supports one-time payments and recurring XRP payment sessions, while stablecoin support for payment sessions depends on a proposed XRPL upgrade.

Ripple is also supporting x402, another web-payment standard, giving developers multiple routes to build AI-powered payment applications on XRPL.
