Commander of the Quds Force, Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, on the second anniversary of the martyrdom of the leaders of the Resistance Front in Lebanon:

– This year’s commemoration is being held under circumstances in which the United States was expelled from Iraq despite possessing all the capabilities and equipment, and the Iraqi people celebrated this victory thanks to the resistance of the Iraqi people and the heroes of the Resistance Front.

– Despite the difficult circumstances, the journey of the Resistance Front, with God’s help and power, is moving forward.

– Today, we are witnessing the unity of the arenas within the Resistance Front, with each part of it surprising the enemy through prudent measures and carefully calculated movements.

– The Americans believed they could force Iran to surrender within four days or two weeks at most, but they encountered circumstances entirely different from their calculations.

– At a time when they were promoting that Hezbollah was finished and no longer capable of resistance, Hezbollah fighters entered the battlefield two days after the outbreak of the war and the martyrdom of our great Imam, and have continued to fight valiantly to this day, astonishing friend and foe around the world.

– This phase of the war was one of the most difficult wars Hezbollah has fought since its establishment until today. Nevertheless, Hezbollah fought valiantly, and Sheikh Naim Qassem’s description, when he said, “We fought the war in the spirit of Ashura and Karbala,” was indeed an accurate description.

– I state clearly that the Zionist regime has never, at any stage, suffered a number of casualties comparable to what it suffered during this war, but it is concealing the number of its casualties.

– Iraq expelled the United States today, and, God willing, it will move forward toward its future with greater security, steadfastness, and sovereignty, through coordination between the government, the various state institutions, and the sons of the Resistance.

– The remaining effects of the US presence in other fields must also be removed, and their indications can be seen today.

– The United States is attempting, by raising secondary issues, including the overflight of aircraft, to downplay the significance of its expulsion from Iraq before world public opinion.

– The sons of the Resistance are present in Iraq, which is considered one of the most sensitive points in the region, and they continue on their path with steadfastness, prudence, and planning.

– For 47 years, the Islamic Republic has faced various conspiracies and measures by the criminal United States, and when they realized that they would not achieve their objectives through intermediaries and various methods, the United States and the Zionist regime launched a joint attack on Iran.

– Their plan was to force the Islamic Republic to surrender within a few days, but thanks to God and His grace, and under the leadership of the Leader of the Revolution, the Iranian people stood firm with dignity and power, and the enemy’s plans collapsed one after another.

– Even at the height of the war, the Islamic Republic did not forget its friends and the peoples subjected to injustice by the United States and the Zionist regime, and stood by them until today and will continue to stand by them in the future.

– Commander of the Quds Force, Brigadier General Esmail Qaani, addressing the Gulf states: Abandon the criminal United States, which made you all these promises to defend you but was unable to defend you, and stand alongside your brothers.
