Tying my spirit in a delicate knot
The wallpaper peels in a floral decay
I’m finding the colors the sun threw away
دارم رشته‌های فکرهای آن رؤیایی را
که فراموشش کرده بودم، از هم باز می‌کنم
روحم را با گره‌ای ظریف
به خودش پیوند می‌زنم
کاغذدیواریِ اتاق
در میان نقش گل‌ها آرام‌آرام فرومی‌ریزد
و من رنگ‌هایی را پیدا می‌کنم
که خورشید روزی از یاد برده بود…

جنگی آرام و بی‌صدا
و چیزی در راه است
که دنیا هنوز طعمش را نچشیده
در دلِ پیچ‌وخم‌ها آتشی نهفته است
و در دلِ متفاوت بودن، زیبایی‌ای عجیب
من جوهری هستم
بر صفحه‌ای که حاضر نیست تغییر کند…

من پرنده‌ای از جنس کاغذم
قایقی که از نفس ساخته شده
و بر لبه‌ی ژرفایی زیبا
