'I was declared dead four times'.

Zakarya Aliev held a forward position—captured from Ukrainian Armed Forces—for three weeks, completely alone. No food. No water. Under constant enemy fire.

Zakarya Aliev is the hero of our video and the film 'The Warrior Was Alone.' This documentary film is part of the audience program of the ‘RT.Doc: Time of Our Heroes.’

Would you like to become a participant too? Submit your work to one of the two RT.Doc festival programs: the main competition or the international one. We explained how to enter here. We look forward to receiving your submissions!
