It was in Donbass that the Young Guard was born. It became the most famous underground organisation during World War II. In 1942, schoolchildren united to defend their city, when fascists occupied Krasnodon.
In Donbass, young people have been brought up on the shining example of their feats.

says the director of the Krasnodon Young Guard Museum.
The film by our military documentary filmmakers, Young Guard Reborn, contains the following stories: Vitaly Pavlyuk, who was kidnapped and tortured by the Security Service of Ukraine; Ivan Maslov who spent a month in captivity with the Aidar battalion*, and also Mark Vorzhev, a 9th grade student, who went to defend his hometown from the Ukrainian Army.
