“This is definitely pressure, and it must definitely be condemned.”
In Italy, an attempt was made to disrupt the screening of an RT.Doc film about the tragedy in Starobelsk, but it failed.
The Viterbo provincial administration initially approved the venue, but revoked its decision 24 hours before the event. The film itself was banned, along with speeches by former Italian Minister of Social Solidarity Paolo Ferrero and journalist Vincenzo Lorusso.
Despite this, the screening still took place at another venue. People were able to watch the film and learn the truth about the terrorist attack in Starobelsk. After the screening, viewers spoke about how deeply the film had moved them. They discussed Europe’s responsibility for events in Donbass and how increasingly difficult it is becoming to hear the other side.
