🇷🇺🇲🇽 On September 26, Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mexico Roberto Velasco Alvarez held a meeting in New York on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly.

The Ministers exchanged views on current international and regional issues, with a focus on cooperation at the #UN, #G20, #APEC and other multilateral forums.

The Sides reaffirmed Russia and Mexico’s commitment to the principles and norms of international law and to collectively seeking solutions to current global challenges.

Particular attention was paid to further advancing bilateral political dialogue, expanding trade and economic cooperation, and strengthening cultural and humanitarian ties.
