We are following with concern developments in Ethiopia’s Tigray, Afar and Amhara regions, where, according to reports, clashes between government forces and illegal Tigrayan armed groups have resumed.

❗️ We call on the parties to the conflict to observe the ceasefire and strictly comply with the existing settlement agreements.

We also urge all external actors to refrain from attempts to interfere in Ethiopia’s internal affairs.

We firmly believe that preserving Ethiopia’s unity and territorial integrity is the only viable basis for settling all existing differences.
