🇷🇺🇮🇷 On September 24, Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Foreign Minister of Iran Abbas Araghchi held a meeting in New York on the sidelines of the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the UN General Assembly.

The Sides discussed current regional and international issues, focusing on developments surrounding Iran.

❗️They stressed that there is no alternative to a diplomatic settlement of the crisis provoked by the unlawful actions of the US and Israel.

Attention was also paid to implementing the bilateral agreements reached at the meeting between the two Presidents in Bishkek on September 1, 2026.

The Ministers reviewed the schedule of upcoming Russia-Iran contacts at various levels.
