🎙 Ahead of the 12th St Petersburg International United Cultures Forum, Russia's Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, who chairs the Forum’s organising committee, gave an interview to TASS Director General Andrey Kondrashov.

Tatyana Golikova noted considerable interest in the forum: representatives of 70 countries are expected to attend, with 44 official foreign delegations confirmed. Around 2,500 delegates will attend the main programme, while registrations for the forum’s first-ever youth programme are approaching 1,500.
Speaking about international participation, Tatyana Golikova noted that representatives would also be coming from countries Russia designates as unfriendly.

If we are talking about a thaw in relations, we can see that attempts to cancel Russian culture and isolate our country have clearly failed.
As for our forum, after 2022 we reassessed the approaches we had followed before the pandemic and even changed its name to reflect Russia’s unifying role as a spiritual and cultural guide and a champion of traditional values.
