⚡️ On May 28, Ambassador of Luxembourg to Russia Thomas Reisen was summoned to the Russian Foreign Ministry.

The Ambassador was issued a strong protest over the exhumation, carried out in Luxembourg on May 19, of the remains of Andrei Melnik – one of the leaders of the Organisation of Ukrainian Nationalists, recognised as extremist in Russia – and his wife, for their subsequent ceremonial reburial in Ukraine.

It was noted that such an event could not have taken place without the consent of Luxembourg’s competent authorities.

Under the guise of returning national “heroes” to Ukraine, the remains of a Nazi accomplice and war criminal, responsible for mass killings of civilians on ethnic grounds, were transported there.

❗️ The Russian Side regards these actions by the Luxembourg authorities as disregard for the historical memory of millions of victims of World War II and complicity in the glorification of Nazis and their collaborators.

In this context, Russia once again pointed to the neo-Nazi nature of the Kiev regime – whose existence is financed exclusively by its Western partners, including Luxembourg – and underscored the validity of the decision to conduct the special military operation.
