🇷🇺🇧🇼 On December 19, on the sidelines of the Second Ministerial Conference of the #RussiaAfrica Partnership Forum in Cairo Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Minister of International Relations of the Republic of Botswana Phenyo Butale.

During the conversation the Parties held a productive exchange of views on topical issues on the bilateral agenda, including prospects for the development of mutually beneficial relations between Moscow and Gaborone in the political, trade, economic, investment and other areas, with an emphasis on healthcare, tourism, education and training in civilian professions.

The Parties reaffirmed their mutual intention to expand Russia-Botswana cooperation in international affairs, particularly at the UN and other multilateral platforms.
