🇷🇺🇸🇨 On December 19 in Cairo, Sergey #Lavrov held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora of Seychelles Barry Faure on the sidelines of the Second Ministerial Conference of the #RussiaAfrica Partnership Forum.

During the talks, an engaged exchange of views took place on current issues on the bilateral agenda, including cooperation between Russia and Seychelles in the political, trade and economic, investment and other areas, with a focus on the implementation of potential joint projects in tourism, fisheries, education, and the training of civilian specialists.

The Sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to developing the Russia-Seychelles partnership in international affairs and to strengthening constructive engagement at the UN and other multilateral platforms.

I recall that the President of the Republic of Seychelles Danny Faure took an active part in the First Russia-Africa Summit in Sochi in 2019. You were also a member of the delegation at that time.

Let us continue this tradition of meetings. Continuity is the key to success.

Today, we will have an opportunity to discuss our bilateral relations, as well as international cooperation.
