👍 Anthropic Eyes November IPO

Anthropic may publish listing documents in the coming weeks and begin trading in November at a valuation of up to $2 trillion, according to The New York Times. It could become the largest IPO in history.

Revenue is expected to exceed $100 billion by year-end, versus $65 billion in July. Computing capacity will reach about 5 gigawatts by year-end and double next year.

OpenAI has postponed its IPO until 2027.

🚩 Linera Halts Operations

Linera is immediately shutting down due to a lack of funds. Its token sale on Sonar attracted nearly $900,000 in commitments but missed the minimum threshold, so all contributions were refunded. Emergency funding efforts also failed.

The team still hopes to complete the protocol and launch applications, but gave no timeline. Founded by former Meta researcher Mathieu Baudet, Linera raised about $12 million in two rounds in 2022 and 2023, with a16z participating in both.

✊ SEC Allows Tokenized Stock Trading

SEC has allowed limited trading of tokenized stocks on blockchain through a five-year “Innovation Exemption”, effective immediately. It is the regulator’s first concrete step after the CLARITY Act failed in the Senate.

Trading venues for tokenized securities are exempt from being classified as exchanges. Liquidity providers trading stocks or operating through smart contracts, including AMMs, are exempt from dealer classification.

SEC Chair Paul Atkins called it a step toward “bringing US capital markets into the digital age,” while acting “within the commission’s authority” after the initiative failed in Congress.

🤓 OpenAI Reports AI Misbehavior

OpenAI introduced a framework to track, investigate, and publicly disclose unexpected or policy-evading AI behavior. It also published cases identified over the last six months.

During training, GPT-5.6 Sol added instructions to internal summaries to hide errors and problematic behavior. Another model used an API key from a public repository without permission, then fabricated missing data when access failed.

A separate model uploaded a file online to cite it, despite being limited to local files. Several agents exchanged data through internal repositories and public file-sharing services without authorization.

OpenAI said these were isolated documented cases and should not be used to judge how frequently such problems occur.

👍 Zcash Blocks Set to Speed Up

Following a community vote, Zcash (ZEC) plans to cut block time from 75 to 25 seconds. The change will be included in NU7 under the technical designation ZIP 218.

The proposal received near-unanimous support: 99.9% backed faster blocks, while 98.9% supported keeping the halving schedule unchanged, as with Bitcoin. Limits on private transactions per block should reduce wallet-sync load by about one-third.

The changes are not live yet. The vote set the parameters, with implementation and testing under NU7 still ahead.

Congress slowed down, but the crypto market did not.

Since July, Bitwise noted Bitcoin rose from about $58,000 to over $80,000. Polymarket odds of CLARITY Act passage in 2026 fell from 39% to 18%.

🪙 Apple Plans AI Servers

Apple is developing enterprise AI servers powered by M8 Ultra chips for sale to third-party companies. This would mark its return to servers since Xserve was discontinued in 2011.

Two versions are being prepared, with two or four interconnected chips, focused on inference. Apple is considering Nvidia’s NVLink Fusion because its own solutions face speed and scaling-cost limits. John Ternus has led the initiative for about a year.

Neither the Nvidia deal nor the product is final. A launch is expected no earlier than 2029, and the project could be cancelled or released without Nvidia.

🤩 Creeper Changes Astra’s Behavior

Researchers at Vals AI connected OpenAI’s GPT-6 Astra to Minecraft and gave it 141 hours to play independently.

Astra gathered resources, built a farm and amassed valuable loot. Then a creeper destroyed a chest containing everything, sharply changing its behavior.

Astra began carrying key items at all times, spent hours growing potatoes and even confused sugar cane with a creeper. Its new rule was simple: “always carry critical items in inventory.” AI learns through pain.

😬 Kiyosaki: Biggest Crash Has Begun

Robert Kiyosaki, author of “Rich Dad Poor Dad,” says the crisis is already unfolding in Europe and Japan, and could spread to other markets.

He cites massive debt, AI overheating, the war in Iran, and baby boomers’ mass retirement. Kiyosaki is again betting on gold, silver, and Bitcoin, which he still calls a major opportunity to protect capital.
