“The Syrian Army Command is actively reorganizing its ranks, reassigning commanders, and further dissolving factions that remain partly within the Syrian Army to stop dual loyalties, remove the local economic interests of former factions, and end factional mentality, while keeping former senior HTS commanders at the top command,” two Syrian Army generals told Asharq Al-Awsat.
