We have revised the sanctions regulations for countries sponsoring terrorism following the removal of Syria's designation as a state sponsor of terrorism.

We have removed a regulatory provision that included a general license specifically for Syria, as it is no longer necessary after Syria's designation as a state sponsor of terrorism has been lifted.

This revision to the regulations is to align them with the removal of Syria's designation as a state sponsor of terrorism and does not represent the imposition of new sanctions.
