Several possible courses of action are being considered, including strikes on multiple fronts, according to Reuters, citing officials in countries in the Persian Gulf region and Western diplomats.

Sources at the agency reported that the operation will involve Saudi-backed armed forces and mercenaries under the leadership of Riyadh, with support from Saudi aviation.

Depending on the scale of the operation, more than 100,000 Saudi-backed soldiers could be involved in the offensive.

Reuters sources also stated that the direct participation of Saudi Arabia's allies in these combat operations is not expected.
