Bailiffs boarded a Caspian Airlines Boeing 737 just as passengers were ready to take off and served a €3 million debt order, stopping the plane from leaving.
The seizure came days after US secondary sanctions on Iran's aviation sector took effect, halving international flights at Tehran's main airport.
