What started the journey of first‑year students at Pirogov University
The first academic week has ended; during these days, students got to know the University, the institutes, the tutors, and, of course, each other.
Watch the video to find out how the first meetings of the first‑year students went and what marked the beginning of their new stage at Pirogov University!
At the traditional meetings, students met the directors of the institutes and departments, learned more about the specifics of the studies, and received answers to organizational questions.
The directors of the institutes and departments addressed the freshmen with parting words. They told the students what awaits them in their chosen fields, as well as the requirements of their future profession and the importance of engaging in the educational process from the very first days.
After the general part, the students went to meetings with tutors of academic groups and curators. They got to know each other, reviewed the schedule and organizational aspects of the first school day, and learned more about student life. Tutors — senior students — will help freshmen navigate the academic process and the university environment throughout their first year.
The University also held a meeting for first‑year residents.
The first week is behind us — years of study, new knowledge, discoveries, friends, and a professional path lie ahead. Welcome to Pirogov University! May this start mark the beginning of a great and important journey!
