⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦 — Russian President Vladimir Putin said Russian forces had captured approximately 6,500 square kilometers of territory and 310 settlements since the beginning of the year.

➡️ Putin claimed that Ukrainian forces retain control of just over 10% of the Donetsk region and 16.5% of the Zaporizhzhia region, while the Luhansk region is entirely under Russian control. He also said Russian forces were establishing a security zone in neighboring Ukrainian territory following Ukraine’s incursion into Russia’s Kursk region.

➡️ Putin said Moscow’s goal was to ensure long-term security along Russia’s borders, adding that Russia was not planning for potential peace negotiations with Ukraine. He also stated that Russian forces would continue striking Ukraine’s military-industrial facilities and infrastructure in response to Ukrainian attacks on Russian industrial and energy facilities.

➡️ The meeting also addressed battlefield developments across the Northern and Southern troop groups, upcoming military objectives for the autumn-winter period, and troop supplies.
