⚡️🇮🇱🇨🇳🇮🇷 — Israeli President Isaac Herzog told the CICA summit in Baku that Israel seeks wider cooperation and peace, but “peace cannot exist alongside terrorism, and cooperation cannot flourish alongside boycotts.” Meeting Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, he discussed bilateral ties, expanded economic, trade and cultural cooperation, Middle East developments and strategic threats to Israel, particularly from Iran and its proxies, according to a statement from Herzog's office.

➡️ Iran’s Foreign Ministry deputy for legal affairs Gharibabadi told CICA that lasting Asian security requires mutual respect, confidence-building and equal cooperation among sovereign states, not threats or pressure. He said Tehran does not seek war but would respond decisively to aggression, warning states against allowing their territory to be used for attacks on Iran, Tasnim reported.

He further warned that unless the international community restrains the US and Israel, their aggression would spread to other independent states. He called Israel the main source of insecurity in Asia—particularly West Asia—and demanded its expulsion from CICA.
