⚡️🇮🇱🇸🇾 — Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu said he initiated a call with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa, warning that Israel would intervene to protect the Druze if the “massacre” did not stop. Netanyahu described the exchange as “very short, very sharp” and said the killing had stopped, pledging to “do whatever is necessary” to protect the Druze while noting that more remained to be done.
"[...] I will do everything necessary to protect us, your brothers and our brothers. We will not give in to defeat. We need to return them to their homes as well. There is more work to do; I cannot tell you everything. But this commitment comes from the depths of the soul."
