🇮🇱❌🇵🇸 — The IDF says it struck in the Gaza City area yesterday and killed Momen Ahmad Salameh Ay, a commander in Hamas' military wing.

The military says he took part in holding hostages captive in Gaza City during the war and served as an aide to commanders of the Hamas Gaza Brigade.

The IDF says he recently advanced attacks against Israeli troops and civilians and attempted to restore the group's capabilities, describing this as a systematic violation of the ceasefire.

The military says it took steps to mitigate civilian harm before the strike, including precision munitions and aerial surveillance.
