⚡️🇹🇼🇸🇿 — Eswatini King Visits Taipei to Reinforce Ties with Taiwan Despite Beijing's Backlash, — Reuters.

➡️ Eswatini's King Mswati III arrived in Taipei to attend Taiwan's national day celebrations, pledging to strengthen bilateral friendship and advocate for Taiwan's UN participation. Beijing strongly condemned the monarch's visit as interference in China's internal affairs, warning Eswatini to return to the right path.

➡️ The visit follows President Lai Ching-te's May trip to Eswatini, which overcame an earlier Chinese overflight blockade that had forced a rare postponement of Lai's initial schedule in April. Amid these diplomatic frictions, Taipei and Eswatini reaffirmed their partnership built on mutual trust.
