⚡️🇺🇸 — The Trump administration has established a new task force to assess the risks and opportunities of artificial intelligence and define the responsibilities of the federal government in the field, with a 120-day mandate. — The Wall Street Journal.

➡️ The task force will be led by Director of National Intelligence Jay Clayton and was established amid growing concerns over AI-related risks including job losses, cyberattacks, weaponization and potential threats to humanity. Clayton said the objective is to ensure the United States remains the leader in “super-intelligence” while protecting the interests of the American public.
