⚡️🇰🇵🇰🇷🇺🇸 — Kim Yo Jong Confirms Intermediate-Range Missile Test Featuring Advanced Trajectory and AI Guidance, — Reuters.

➡️ North Korean official Kim Yo Jong formally confirmed that Pyongyang successfully conducted an intermediate-range strategic missile test, overseen directly by leader Kim Jong Un. The confirmation follows initial tracking reports from the South Korean military indicating that a ballistic missile flew over 700 kilometers toward the sea off the country's east coast. Kim asserted that the test utilized a specialized "wave-like trajectory mode" designed to exploit and expose vulnerabilities in regional tracking architecture, claiming that monitoring assets operated by Seoul and Tokyo failed to properly track the projectile past its initial skip points.

➡️ Highlighting technological advancements in Pyongyang's arsenal, Kim stated that the test integrated artificial intelligence to dynamically alter the missile's flight orbit at low altitudes. She maintained that these capabilities render traditional defense tracking systems ineffective, underscoring an ongoing push to refine maneuverable payload delivery systems. This strategic demonstration follows heightened cross-border friction, including a public dismissal by Pyongyang of Seoul's demands for an apology regarding landmine incidents in the Demilitarized Zone, alongside a steady cadence of missile tests protesting joint U.S.-South Korean military exercises.
