From 21st to 27th September, Ukrainian Defence Forces units struck a number of important enemy targets across the russian federation and the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
🔥 First and foremost — russian defence industry facilities.
On the night of 25th September, the Iskra Plant Research and Production Enterprise in Ulyanovsk was struck. It is part of the Almaz-Antey concern and produces components for defence industry enterprises, including electronic equipment and weapons.
The Synthetic Rubber Plant in Yefremov, Tula region, and Voronezhsintezkauchuk in Voronezh were also struck. Both enterprises are involved in the production of solid rocket propellant, including for Iskander ballistic missiles.
On the night of 26th September, the Azov Optical and Mechanical Plant in Azov, Rostov region, was struck. The plant is part of the Tactical Missiles Corporation and produces components for missile, artillery and anti-tank weapons.
⛽️ Significant strikes targeted the oil refining industry. Bashneft-UNPZ, the Kuibyshev Refinery, Lukoil-Permnefteorgsintez, the Novoshakhtinsk and Ilsky refineries were struck. The combined design capacity of these facilities exceeds 40 million tonnes of crude oil per year.
🛰️ Another focus was strike UAV infrastructure. In the area of Tsymbulova, Orel region, a UAV storage, preparation and launch site was struck, including at least three storage facilities and launch systems. A similar facility was also struck in the area of Donetsk.
🛡️ Air defence radar systems were systematically targeted. The 35N6 Kasta, P-18, P-18 Terek and 64L6 Gamma-S1 radars, along with other systems, were struck.
💥 In addition, ammunition, fuel and lubricants, and logistics depots, as well as other important enemy targets, were struck.
Strikes against such russian aggressor targets constitute Ukraine’s exercise of its inherent right to self-defence under Article 51 of the UN Charter and are aimed at reducing the military and economic potential of the russian federation.
