⚡️🇬🇧🇵🇸 — A Sunday Times investigation reported that the son of a senior Hamas official who previously served as Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh’s personal bodyguard was granted asylum in the UK in 2015 and later British citizenship despite his past and links to Hamas being well known. He lived with his family in the suburbs of an English city, worked in IT and changed his name several times.

He was arrested in London in November 2025 and is facing extradition to Germany, where prosecutors accuse him of being a key figure in a Hamas plot to carry out attacks against Jewish and Israeli targets in Germany or Austria around the second anniversary of October 7 — N12, citing The Sunday Times.

➡️ According to the indictment, he transferred pistols and ammunition from Berlin to Vienna and appeared masked and armed in a pre-recorded video in front of a Hamas flag, describing the planned attack as an act of revenge on behalf of the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades; the plot was uncovered by the Mossad and German security services, while security sources said senior Hamas officials supervised the preparations and that he played a central role.
