⚡️🇮🇷🇬🇧 — Iran’s Foreign Minister told his British counterpart that insecurity in the region and the Strait of Hormuz resulted from what he called “military aggression” by the United States and Israel, carried out with the support and cooperation of some European countries, which he said had caused extensive damage to Iran, the region, and the wider world — Tasnim.

➡️ He argued that lasting regional stability and security depended on ending the occupation and securing the Palestinian people’s legitimate rights, particularly self-determination, and said the UK and other European governments should be held accountable for their role in the emergence and continuation of what he characterized as an occupying and “terrorist” regime in West Asia.

➡️ Araghchi also rejected interference in states’ internal affairs and what he described as the instrumental use of human-rights concepts, while stating that the three European countries involved in the snapback issue should be held accountable for following what he called unlawful US actions and for failing to adopt a firm position against the US-Israeli military aggression against what he described as Iran’s peaceful nuclear facilities.
