The Foreign Ministry said its Protocol Directorate would notify Iranian authorities of the applicable procedures.

➡️ Colombia separately designated Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) a terrorist group, citing what it described as threats to international peace and security, repression of the Iranian population, and covert operations beyond Iran; Bogotá said the IRGC is classified as an international terrorist organization by the European Union and by countries in North America, the Middle East, Latin America and Oceania, and that Colombia would strengthen controls to prevent the entry of persons associated with the organization.
