⚡️🇺🇸🇸🇩 — The US Department of State states President Donald Trump is committed to ending the war in Sudan, which it described as the world’s worst humanitarian crisis, and said neither the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) nor the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has made a serious commitment to an immediate truce, instead intensifying combat operations and drone strikes that kill civilians.

➡️ Washington said it has repeatedly urged both parties to accept an unconditional humanitarian truce and enter an inclusive political dialogue leading to a transition to civilian government, which it identified as essential to achieving durable peace. The United States also said it is prepared to work with any serious partner for peace while seeking to raise the cost of continued conflict for all belligerents and the networks fueling it.
