⚡️🇮🇷 — Central Bank Governor Hemmati said money supply growth has been braked, with 19% growth over the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21 – August 22, 2026) compared to the end of the previous year, against 18% in the same period last year. He expressed hope that curbing money supply growth will sustain the deceleration in inflation that began in late June–July into late August–September — Tasnim.

➡️ Hemmati emphasized that alongside controlling money supply and inflation, the Central Bank and banking system, focusing on financing production in the first five months through bank facilities and supply chain financing instruments, provided 4,100 hemmet (thousand billion tomans) in production financing, a 68% increase since the start of the year; supply chain instruments accounted for 269 hemmet since the beginning of the year.
