Preliminary investigations showed he served in the military intelligence ranks and held the positions of head of investigation and then head of legal affairs in Branch 248, where he was directly responsible for managing central investigations related to demonstrations, opposition files, and dissident officers during the revolution years — Al-Ikhbariya.

Investigations with the detainee are ongoing to complete legal procedures against him ahead of his referral to the competent judiciary in accordance with established procedures.
