Workshop on Interdisciplinary Collaborations in Mathematical Biology

In this program, participants will discuss concrete examples of models within mathematical biology to develop intuition for how and why each model might be most appropriate/useful to particular types of questions. Case studies will be focused on topics within climate science and human health, showcasing the diversity of challenges, methods for meeting them, and open questions for exploration.

Applicants to the program should be current mathematics graduate students or postdoctoral fellows. Women and people from underrepresented minority groups are especially encouraged to apply.
