Katya and Yury Mezinov are absolutely incredible superhumans who do the impossible every single day.
I was even lucky enough to meet Yury in person when he drove us to Avdeevka in the fall of 2024 - that was my first time there.
I follow Katya on Telegram. She has her own channel, Dobrayа Russkaya (means "kind Russian woman"). She also has a separate, smaller channel, Point of Help, which, of course, I follow too.
Right now, circumstances are such that I temporarily cannot go on a trip and deliver a large amount of aid. I’ve already wrote about this before. But thanks to you, my dear ones, who have subscribed to support me and regularly send money, a small reserve is building up.

This morning, I read a request for a hoodie and a toy pony for a seven-year-old girl, and a white bicycle for an eight-year-old boy. Yes, I understand that a pink pony and a white bicycle are not essential necessities.
But the New Year’s gifts for the children with disabilities in Alchevsk, which we together have provided for four years in a row, aren’t milk and bread either… Yet they mean so much to those children!
Anyway, I bought that white bicycle.

…Because there were children there, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were deliberately firing at them, so our guys couldn’t wait. One vehicle carrying our soldiers burned down, but the soldiers managed to get the family out and sheltered them in their dugouts, waiting for a chance to evacuate them.
All that time, the Ukrainian Armed Forces were tracking the movements of the family with the children and striking the places where they were staying.
Katya Mezinova, together with the Vega unit and the 35th Brigade, managed to evacuate them despite everything.
They are now relatively safe in Donetsk, but their entire life, everything they owned, is now ashes.
Let these children have this pink pony and this white bicycle!
