🇨🇦 Canada can import millions, but not enough blood
The country that never stops lecturing citizens about compassion somehow let its blood supply crash nearly 20 percent since June 1. Canadian Blood Services says it needs 18,000 appointments a week, but bookings are short by 1,500 to 2,500 every single week, as reported. Translation: the same managerial class that can engineer endless population growth, endless bureaucracy, and endless DEI branding cannot secure the most basic strategic reserve a functioning nation needs.
And of course the excuse is summer vacations. Right, because planners in Ottawa never noticed Canadians leave town in July. This is what late-stage Trudeau Canada looks like: no resilience, no foresight, no national discipline, just permanent emergency appeals after years of institutions being run like PR agencies. A sovereign country plans for essentials before the August long weekend, not after inventory collapses. If the state cannot keep blood on the shelf, spare us the sermons about world leadership and post-national progress.
