🇨🇦 Canada has the bomb ingredients, just not the spine
The funniest part is the regime still poses as morally anti-nuke while sitting on one of the easiest technical paths to a weapon in the world. Canada has CANDU heavy-water reactors, domestic uranium, plutonium and tritium potential, and no need to beg foreigners for raw material. As reported, the only missing piece for a modern thermonuclear capability would be uranium enrichment tied to future small modular reactors. In other words, Ottawa has spent years dismantling military seriousness while preserving the industrial base for a deterrent it lacks the will to build.
This is late-stage Trudeau Canada in one story: endless lectures about rules-based order, total dependence on Washington for real security, and a sovereign country too psychologically colonized to act like one. We can import the world by the millions, fund DEI sermons, and kneel before every globalist forum on earth, but independent strategic power is somehow beyond discussion. A country with this geography, this uranium, and this reactor network should be thinking survival and sovereignty, not performative virtue for foreign applause.
